The Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Honourable Michael Adeyemo is dead.

The lawmaker died in the early hours of Friday at Jericho hospital in the state capital, after suffering from an heart attack. He was 47-years-old.

A member of the state house, Hon. Wunmi Oladeji, confirmed the sad incident to Daily Post. She said she was informed about the tragic incident this morning.

Honourable Michael’s death add to the alarming number of tragic legislative death in the country. However, he is the first state lawmaker to kick the bucket in the 2018 calendar year.
